Since the founding of the Calito Dress Company in 1999 we have always
believed that the world of fashion should not only be the exclusive domain of the perfectly
proportioned woman ( You know the type. There inside all the magazines but very rarely
sighted in the real world .) but to all the population including those of us who do not
exactly match the ideal fashion look dreamed up in a board room meeting to sell the latest
trend. Remember, trends change. In the 1920's being curvy was all the rage. In the 1990's
we had The Grung Look where trendy ment looking as if your cloths were found in the garbage.
At Calito we prefer to look at things from a different perspective. We believe that style is
personal and internal and that fashion is the expression of style. This is why we create all
our dresses from size 0 to size 44 and have a special request department dedicated to helping
solve your fashion problems.
Calito on the Dr. Phil Show

Stacy, the 17 year old high school senior who was given a Calito dress (style #2603)
on The Dr. Phil Show is not your standard regulation teen. For starters she is 6 feet 7 inches tall and
was overwieght. She contacted Dr.Phil in hopes that he could help solve her problems. Dr. Phil
enrolled her in the teen wieght loss program and did several things for her. First he explained
to Stacy that none of her problems could be solved unless she developed confidence in herself.
This is how you begin to develope style. He then gave her a program to help her accomplish
her physical goals. The rest was up to Stacy who took on the challenge with great success.
That is Style and with it you will be fashionable. Stacy also believed that because of her
height she could not find a prom dress. It turns out that all that had to be done is contact

believe that our dresses should be created to fit, not that you should fit the dresses. So
much for the big delema. Now Stacy would attend her prom in top fashion and on her own terms.
